Summer Hoops is a free basketball all day event /summer festival, originating at Bushrod Park in North Oakland. There are 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games all day, music, food, as well as a variety of board games and activities for all ages.

Inspired by the streetball culture of legendary parks like Mosswood and Rucker Park, Summer Hoops aims to create a day of family friendly fun.

Our goal is to create community events across the globe for basketball lovers of all ages to come together and enjoy some fun in the sun. We also aim to highlight talents, resources and brands from the local community. Our vision is to tie these events with park beautification projects to upgrade courts and bring light to communities year round, illustrating to the next generation what is possible with love, dedication and collaboration.
